I'm requesting extra taxes taken off this year. I'm budgeting for a protect N/A car and another set of rallisoprts to have fun working on an turn around and sell. That's where I'll put my extra tax return money next year.

Finally got the cash to get these. Is there still a 2-3 month wait?

Just got back from my 700 mi road trip to Las Vegas and temps were 109-113 F during my drive. The CEL was not set off and has yet to return. I'm a happy camper now lol, just an update.

I have been in contact with him the past couple of weeks as he just finished up a custom build for me. I don't have details, but just be patient. You all know his reputation and standing behind his work 110% and that he is doing all he can to help everyone. He had told me a family matter arose a short while ago, which may be why you are slow to get a response. Dont worry, he always does reply

Your headers are worth the wait! trust me ( http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...postcount=1166 )

I know it's worth it, but 2 months is a tough wait. I definitely don't have the patience to wait 4 months...

Anyone plan on going back to stock or need cash want to sell me theirs?

April 30th he said it would not be much longer, that was about 2 months ago.

Any response Scubaru? I'm sure we're not the only two waiting patiently, anyone else get theirs recently? When did you place your order if so?

I sent them an email on their site and they did respond:

Quote:
Good news is that I will be building/shipping your header next week. You should receive it next weekend or early the following week. If there are any design elements you would like me to include, just let me know and I'll be more than happy to accommodate you.

Thanks!

Mike
So looks like just big backlog.

Mike's customer service is top notch. I purchased the headers last year and I had to wait roughly 3-4 months for it but it was worth the wait. He gave me free shipping and free gaskets for the delay

Well, after having the headers on for about a year i traded my car for a WRX.

I cannot believe how dull the stock WRX sounds! My RS with Mike's headers sounded way better. Its probably the stock midpipe/catback that is causing this, but still!

Anyway, I had to wait 17+ weeks for my headers to arrive, but the wait is well worth it! The end result will be awesome! Mike's headers are top-notch and it is by far the best mod i did to my RS.

Thanks again Mike!!

Did you sell the car with the headers? That's one lucky mofo if so.

Yeah I kind of had to, the dealership charged me a LOT to remove them and re-install the stock headers.

Just read all of the posts prior. Apparently the sound is top notch, as is the build quality. If you can justify spending so much money without any significant performance gains (i.e. for better sound), then yes they are worth the money.
