Thanks for sharing this, good information to know! That pretty much confirms what my records show.

Quick post of a pic I took last week:

I can't remember having so many different variations completed in the same week. From left to right: 2.0R cerma kromed UEL header with cat pipe (cat pipe obviously not shown) going to Trinidad, 2.0i cerma kromed UEL header, v2.5 UEL with standard hfc (this one was also shipped with a hfc pipe), v2.5 with OEM grade hfc.

Shipping three more headers tomorrow.

My inbox is piling up with emails that I haven't had a chance to respond to and I apologize for that but all my time is now spent in the shop and it feels better to be able to say that your header has finally been shipped, as opposed to repeatedly saying that it will be shipped.

The flange and primaries look slightly different between 3 and 4. Optical illusion or actual difference despite both being v2.5? Also what's the turnaround on a catpipe looking like?

Good eyes. I took that pic before putting the finishing touches on #3, which included welding the flange to the primaries, which in turn give the optical illusion of a larger primary.

I have a cat pipe that I started building but never finished and for a return customer like yourself I could squeeze it in 2-3 weeks.

That's pretty sure interesting, I wonder why it came out that way.
What year grouping was it made for? I might have to take you up on it. Wonder if that'd make the CEL a permanent issue lol, not that I really care.

Just a heads up: I was getting a P0420 due to an actually bad OEM Cat, and the Rallysport cured my code. I have something near 10k miles CEL free. I used High heat paint (2 high heat primers, 4 layers paint) and then wrapped with the Fiberglass wrap, taking care to wrap as best as I could from the exhaust port until after the Cat Sensor.

Everyone says bad juju to wrap these but one winter inspection (Pennsylvania, temporary salt flats from December to March) and not a touch of corrosion, and where you can see paintunder the wrap it is not coming up.

Thanks but I don't have the OEM cat I have a hi flow magnaflow one. I don't have the rallisport headers either, just some eBay ones. Still, I get a cel after wrapping them.

Maybe because your cat is further back? Subaru started putting the first one in the exhaust manifold so that it was right under the block and shorter distance meaning it could get hotter faster to start catalyzing.

Also some ecu's are very picky, mine used to go off if I looked at it the wrong way.. with the original rallisport headers mine would go off even with fiberglass blankets around them almost exactly 200 miles from clearing it. After a while I just stopped caring about clearing it.

I don't know how reliable that info is, I've been waiting since August. I've been told "it's shipping out soon" at least 3 or 4 times

Yeah I know, before I ever placed the order or sent any money I asked how realistic the 2 month wait time was and he told me it was pretty accurate. I don't mind waiting, but setting up realistic expectations regarding wait time is important when someone sends you a thousand dollars for something. I'll give him some more time before I start to email bug him again, but I'm expecting a shipment soon.

I sent him a message June 10th and I haven't gotten a response back. I just sent him a follow up today. I messaged him back and forth in March asking if the 2 month lead time was accurate and he stated it was, but it's been 3 months since I sent money.

I hope he's close to my order, I'm starting to get a little worried.

I ordered it about a month ago and I'm starting to get worried because he's backed up on orders way ahead of mine.

Yeah, I don't mind waiting - I just wish the communication was there. It's hard to paypal someone so much money and then not know what's going on.

I ordered mine in February, I can't wait to finally get them! A realistic wait time or progress updates would help with ease everyone's worries lol.

Dat rumble will be all worth it in the end though
