I have a set of ID1000s sitting on standby. Im was going to sell them because I dont really want to bump my fuel pressure alot.

I know it may sound silly...

From what Ive been told the DW1300s are "supposed" to actually flow a little more then advertised "1350cc ish" Also bump the fuel pressure to 50psi and they'll flow 1500cc.

Im interested to learn more about the five0motorsports bosch injectors? their pretty much the same as the IDs but without the hype and pricetag?

anything that is based on Bosch EV14 is essentially the same thing as what Injector Dynamics sells. Bosch EV14 is a recent OEM injector design.

Injector Dynamics injectors are awesome injectors because they are Bosch EV14, not because Injector Dynamics did anything special to them besides flow testing and fitment related stuff.

I'll be using the Fuel Injector Clinic 1350cc Subaru WRX/STi BlueMAX Peak and Hold Low Impedance Ball & Seat Injector set (Low-Z) IS275-1350

I'm not sure if they are Bosch EV14 but I spoke to Phil @ Element tuning since I'll be using the Hydra 2.6 which supports low impedance injectors. I gave him the specs on these injectors and he gave me a thumbs up on these.

More info from FIC's site:

Quote:
Low impedance injectors (1.5 to 4.0 Ohm) have a faster trigger times due to the type of electrical signal pattern emitted by the ECU. This “Peak and Hold” pattern uses a high (6 amp) initial current pulse to open the injector, and then a lower current signal to keep the injector open. Since the “hold” or lower current part of the signal has created a weaker magnetic field, the injector will also close quicker.
Quote:
Typically most injectors with higher flow rates (600cc/min or more) would be more likely to be low impedance injectors. This is because low impedance injectors have a faster opening response times and generate less heat when operated at higher flow duty cycles.
Quote:
You will see that most of our injectors flowing more than 500cc/min are low impedance injectors since the performance industry prefers the faster response times of the “Peak and Hold” pattern.

850cc should be more than plenty for that power level. if you're having issues, it doesn't seem like going with bigger injector would solve the problem.

Just got in my Bosch 1200's yesterday in the mail. Now next question.. Dual pump necessary? Power wise I'm at 430whp, I would like to be around 470-500whp after these pups get installed, bigger MAF.
