Question Speedo, Tach, Turn Signals, Climate Contols, and Stereo suddenly won't work???

Ight so I have been tearin apart my car so i can put my stereo in but ran out of time yesterday and had to go to class when i noticed my Speedo, Tach, Turn Signals, climate controls, and my stereo wont power on(at least those are the things ive noticed). The only things I've disconnected are the plugs to my window switches on my door...I checked all of my fuses and they're all good so I am at a complete loss for ideas. I tried resetting my ECU and that didn't do a damn thing so yeah....anybody got an idea?

I would guess you either missed a blown fuse as a lot of folks do on the first check or there is a loose connector under the dash to those areas.

You need to verify if power is getting to those areas. I would bet there is fuse or a power wire problem.

i was also reading in an older post where you helped someone with a turn signal/hazard problem....do you think an ignition relay could be a factor in this case? .....and btw i tried replugging in my radio and now my guage cluster wont light up at all....also i just used a tester on my fuse panel for my radio slot and i didnt get any power there...

The trouble isn't due to a short but it does sound like a bad connection to power somewhere. The trouble could be due to a faulty ignition switch or in the wiring before or after the switch. You need to check that. Also make sure the fuses under the hood are ok and if you have any fusible links be sure they are making good connection. Clean the battery to chassis ground.

ight man so far ive been takin your advice, but jus dont know about this ignition switch thing....i was wigglin around some wires and my hazards are working, but my turn signals wont...from my reading i know that they are on the same circuit but the turn signals are after the hazards, idk if this can help you pinpoint my problem or not...

Ok. If all the other things you first mentioned still aren't working along with the turn signals then you need to check for power using a test light probe. We need to verify that power is getting to the fuses first. If that is ok then we need to test further down the line. If you don't have a test light then you need to got one so we can prove where power is getting to.

i tested some of my fuse slots and it says the radio is getting a steady 12 amps....rear turn signals no power, and mirrors no power.

If the fuses you tested that had no power were in the dash then check the fuses under the hood and make sure they have power to them.
