Default Leveling Switch- Specific To Model Year?

Do I have to worry about what Model year leveling Switch/Harness I acquire to use with my 05 STI HID's to 05 WRX swap?

actually, they are different. 04-05 has a left-to-right knob while 06-07 has a up/down scroll thing. good luck w/ the install!

here's a thread w/ the 04-05 switch:

internally the two switches are completely different, so if you got 05 HIDs you will need the 05 style switch
