Default Oven Bake or Clean Headlights First?

OK... I'm transfering the Lens from my 05 WRX to a set of STI HID's .....but my WRX lens need a good Crystal View Headlight restoration.

So do I oven bake to do the transfer and then clean....or clean then oven bake? Baking Crystal view chemicals concerns me...but baking frosted lens concerns me also!

Surely somebody else doing a HID swap has had to deal with this?

Clean the lens with a damp cloth to get rid of the dirt thats on them before baking. Baking frosty lenses shouldn't damage them further as its usually just oxidation that will be taken care of when you use the lens restoration kit after transferring them.
