440whp 110oct (21psi) - previous owner ran it for about 2 weeks then got sick of driving far to get expensive gas.

i have a cgm (crystal grey metallic) 2006 wrx, with 35,000 miles on the good ol' odometer as of today. It has proven its reliablity so well that i daily drive the car feel free to give it a compression test, inspected, i have zero doubts

AMS built 2.5 with stock heads / cams
~15,000 miles on the build
~10,000 miles on the STI transmission.

but the car is very very well taken care of. it is washed weekly, parts were all put on correctly! nothing in the car was half-assed. the only bad thing

-240sx (preferbly s14) sr20/rb25 or 26, 2jz, ls1, ls2... has to be very very nice (show quality almost) + cash
-350z turbo or supercharged (manual only)
-g35 turbo or supercharged (manual only)
-rx7 (ls1 only, no unreliable rotary) + cash depending on quality
-MK3 2jz supra + cash
- just show me what you have that is NICE

_The price is FIRM at $21,000_ OBO... but not to much

the "rod knock" was profesionally inspected....
a compression test . and leakdown test which passed well... and the ticking is the car was the car driving on very low oil... you can research it, they said they have had people come in with this... a rod knock ticks from through out all rpm's... and sometimes even at idle. there is no more ticking, i can show a video to confirm, or you can come down here, and check the car out for yourself.

there is also NO oil spitting from the exhaust. which is another sign of a rod knock...

No.... that would be the sign of bad piston rings haha
either way your a moron who is trying to scam someone for 21k. When a motor runs on low oil irreversible damage is done. A simple oil change is not enough.

Go ahead and try and sell your car but be up front about it!

im not trying to sell it, it was a feeler. i could be 100% fine with keeping the car... i actaully want to keep the car until spring, when i can get a rwd car that will be more snow friendly.

but hey they say it takes a while to sell the car, so why not start now.

So you've replaced the short block since the other thread?

Unfortunately for you, as it sits the car is worth nothing. I was offered $4k for a car with $25k in mods when my engine needed to be rebuilt. Your car is not worth anything unless you fix it.
