I got on the gas once so far with AMR's new cxr750 turbo and i had to lol @ the boost gauge stopping at 12psi, it moved alright, but after Rob's last E85 tune my tolerance for speed is high.....** but at part throttle the car is behaving 100% normal.
*

Can't wait for bigger injectors next week to put this turbo to good use!

Yeah dude, I tuned my T60R on E85 down in SC and I was out of 1000cc injector at 19 psi

Im really contemplating selling the 60/lb min AMR turbo for the 80lb/min. 500whp or close to on a nice pump gas tune sounds great

I gotta say that after driving for a bit that this massive turbo is a total blast to drive even @ only 12psi... The car pulls really nicely for such low boost. I also have noticed this turbo is very responsive and with no more noticeable lag then my AMR t60r turbo exhibited. I can't to open this turbo up tomorrow!!!!

I hope you guys do some testing, I can't wait to see some dyno sheets.

How fast is the spool? I want to see a comparison VS a regular stock location 35r, or a rotated 35r

sick

Im going to be throwing this turbo on soon, just need to find a buyer for the T60R.

My Guess is, as a 8cm stock location 40R type turbo:

35R Spool with rotated 37R power. I will see shortly

this sounds like a terrible matched turbo. their is no way that small 8cm housing is going to keep up a 80lbs wheel.

Terrible matched? Not true at all.

We would not waste the time or finances to engineer and manufacture a part that will not perform.

The 8cm works perfect.

AMR I want to see some real world testing of this turbo, dyno and track. Come on if you do this you will sell a LOT more turbos .

Send a turbo to Mikey at Phatbotti TKR he is a very good subject for the test. He is fair and well respected in the community, he will provide proper and adequate testing.

If not, send the turbo to me

Juan, I forgot to tell you. AMR had me in house and I am now one of their product dealers, I already get this turbo at a good price. I'll get it soon, and provide results for all to see. I just have to sell my t60 first.

I believe there is a 2007 STi on the dyno now recieving an upp'd fuel system for E85 and this turbo. As soon as Mac is squared away, Im sure he will share his results. He is currently making 480+ whp on the t60 and E85, out of injector.

I cant wait to see 525-550whp out of this turbo. Wish Mac went with 2000's ID2000's, those 1300's are gonna limit the car to 22-23psi.

AMR is going to do this proper and not leave me with a halfassed setup. They are good people with great service. AMR is going to let this turbo do what they designed it for and what it's supposed to do, and that's flow lots and lots of air!!!

Things are still in development.... Supply enough fuel to this turbo with E85 requires a decent fueling setup... atm Deatschwerkz 1300cc injectors are at 140% duty cycle with an Aeromotive FPR and single Walbro Fuel Pump so boost is on the low side, timing is very conservative up top, and the full potential of this turbo has yet to be scratched...

but here are some preliminary results...

499whp / 483wtq @ 24psi on E85 on AMR's dynodynamics @ 1.0 CF

The car is a beast...

This motor is making almost 430wtq still at 6000rpms!!!!! This thing just pulls like a train and just rips forward.... I have to hold the wheel real tight cause of all the torque steer lol.

the car doesn't feel like it spools any differently then the T-60R turbo I had on before.

More results to come once the fueling system is complete....

A huge thanks to the guys at AMR, they are constantly impressing me with their service, and parts. My STi has never made me smile the way it does now thanks to AMR.
