No there is not. The closest ones are TopSpeed and Forged Motorsports in Atlanta.

I read there is a tuner in Birmingham. Somewhere around clay but I can't remember the name. I'll post if I find it

Found it Fast Performance Tuning and he is in Pinson. 1.5 hours instead of 3.5 travel time.

Default Huntsville area shop

I might be in need of a Subie mechanic in the Huntsville area.

Installed turbo back exhaust. Had to remove Intercooler to tighten one of the bolts. When completed started car no problem and check for exhaust leaks. Borla Hush sounded sweet. Restarted car to roll off of ramp into drive way again no problem. When I attempted to start the car to move out of driveway it cranked but nothing happened (turned over but would not fire). I read searches rechecked all the connectors I may have bumped. Attempted to start still no joy. Bumped ignition several times and heard it try to fire (a single fire). Went thru sequence fuel pump pressure up attempt to start for 2 seconds (about two turns is the usual) . On about try 5 or 6 she caught and fired up. I move the car out of the driveway turned off and restarted fine. Drove around the block came back to the house. Parked, turned off and attempted restart again no joy. I'll also post this in the trouble shooting section

Thanks for any help

Fast Performance is run by Ed Hawkins, the best tuner in the state in my opinion. He has tuned most of the guys in Huntsville and he knows what he is doing! Let me know if I can help you.

so00000 where the hell did Gary go?!!?!! new parts manager at Koby leaves much to be desired. spoke w/ Koby today and he was unamused. stated he is aware of the problem and that they are overwhelmed at the moment w/ the Mitsubishi sales merger. guess i wont be ordering parts from Koby anymore. my friends over in Louisiana always used Gary for parts b/c of accuracy price shipping speed and customer service. Gary was extremely knowledgeable on any part that i have searched for. i hope his leaving was a positive for him. i wish him great success

Any Birmingham Subie owners are welcome to join up with me. Maybe we could do a Hwy 25 run or some fun runs this fall? Send me a PM or email.

Angry Dealers

Looking at various reviews, only dealers in GA seem worth spending service dollars on.

Disappointing.

North-Central Alabama and Southern Tennessee just seem to have ridiculous attitudes about their customers, as if the customer is a slave to the dealership?

Instead of a new Subaru Outback, I bought a new Toyota specifically because I can't live with my local Subaru dealership. Which is annoying because I prefer Subaru to Toyota (it is my second new Toyota, and I find them over rated, and Subaru underrated).

So now, at 160,000 miles, my 2001 RS needs a clutch, and I have to go out of my way to reach someone I can hope to do the job correctly.

What a way to sell a brand Subaru.

After you sell all those cars you've been pushing, and the new first-time owners get a taste of your dealer network, will there be any repeat buyers?

Which dealerships did you check with? I personally know several of the techs at the Huntsville subi dealer and would say they won't do you wrong. I do know several people who have had issues with the sales dept, I'd never buy a car there
