I'm OFFICIALLY down here in Enterprise, AL (Fort Rucker, AL) now... ANYONE on NASIOC down this way??

I see quite alot of Subarus, but if they are all flight school students like myself, they just don't have any time to do ANYTHING other than live, breathe, eat and drink the instruction we get in class and at the flight line everyday ...

Btw, I'll be swappin' out transmissions on my STi here in the future; if anyone wants a still-working 6-speed with dying differentials and a worn but still fully operational first gear selector fork it'll go to the person who helps me get it out and the new in

Hey bud, I'll help ya out if you have the tools (or are you using the Auto hobby shop on base?)... I could definitely use a spare one to re-build for my car since it will be returned to track duty after leaving this Rucker...

I'm probably the only SGM (the darker grey) 2006 STi with 4 wing "stiffies" and Rally Armor Mudflaps (decided to go for the "rally car - tough look") after all the hardcore stuff came off...

Where do you spend most of your time?? I'm in a holding pattern at the moment, waiting on SERE in March, then IERW hopefully soon after. Tracking 64's (good thing about being in the National Guard )...

Shoot me a message on here sometime and we'll meet up

I don't think I've seen yours, which is crazy considering how small Rucker is. Right now I'm spending my time studying the 64 5 & 9 at breakneck speed lol... I selected last Friday and start tomorrow. Enjoy your time off; you're not guaranteed more than two weeks after SERE or BWS I think Pacobeagle wins the bid for the trannie; aside from his experience alone his willingness to travel is commendable, but it'd be cool if you showed up anyway. I won't have the trans for a couple weeks but I'll let you know. BTW, I have a bit of primary and instruments stuff that I won't ever be needing again if you'd like it.

No worries man, when I saw Paco post even I knew that with his experience, he would be the better one to help you out. I've only done a few clutches on WRX's, never on an STi... Paco has done ALOT more than I could dream to do so you are in good hands...

Yeah, strange that I haven't seen you either... Although, when I was on my way back from PT this morning I DID see a blue bug-eye with light bar, STi wing and what looked like mudflaps parked across from the medical center. Were you out flying today?...

There is myself and another CGM (lighter silver) 2006 STi here. He is on NASIOC too, but I haven't met him, only seen him parked around base every now and then...

Let me know when you are doing the Trans and where and I'll try to make it... I'm looking at 14 Mar SERE date at the moment so I'll be there till early April. But before or after I can try to make it on the weekends. Thanks man! I'll definitely be interested in as much primary stuff as you are willing to part with. And if you want to get rid of any Advanced 64 material when you leave here, let me know too ... Plus I'd love to catch up with ya sometime (maybe this weekend?) and see if you have any pointers for my up-coming training sessions...

Thanks killer!

Sweet, can't wait to make the trip. I'm even going to bring the Saabaru! I think you might like it. Good luck with SERE and the rest of your training....the rewards justify the sacrifice.

One question, what year tranny are we working with?

Just checking in, I have an 06 WRX in PPG Superblack, Enterprise, AL. FS student as well. If you have been to the shop lately you may have seen it sitting in the back minus a tranny, taking it to ATL this weekend to have the synchros replaced and get some cryo-loving for the gearset.
