Default Practical BugEye Build

New Winter Car/ Project for me! I'm new to the whole Subaru thing so this should be an interesting learning curve. I'm hoping to keep this simple enough where it can be a reliable daily during bad weather months and yet interesting enough where I wont get bored and sell it. Plus it will be nice having a spare care to drive while the Miata gets worked on. It came with a Kartboy Short Shift and since Ive added clear corners, a touchscreen double din DVD and upgraded to the newer switchblade style key fob.

Nice clean daily driver. Looks good for a 12 year old car. Have fun with it!

Just saw your thread on Mighty car mods haha.

I'll copy paste my post here.

"The car looks mint! I'm not used to see NA Subaru, but it looks pretty cool. You didn't say a word on the car spec. In France, we only have 1.6L and 2L NA, but seeing your floor mats I guess it's the 2.5L ? Must have a lot of torque, could be helpful during winter!

I'm in for more. Too bad you are so far, because I have a spare WRX hood and trunk with wing that I would like to sell. "

Thanks guys, It is a 2.5RS. I looked at a few WRX's but none were as clean and unmolested as this RS. Plus I couldn't refuse the price. My Miata is turbocharged anyhow so I get my Pssssssshhhttt Fix from that.

This car has terrible light output from the stock headlights so I did a projector and HID retrofit. While I was at it, I switched all front and back bulbs to LED. Significant difference IMO.
