Default Thoughts and Experiences with MZM

I am very soon going to start a build and wanted to acquire any info you may have. I am looking at several different options but the primary focus of this build will be street with an occasional track event. I have yet to use MZM and being Cobb isn't set up in Austin yet for motor builds, I wanted to consider my options locally. Thanks for all ur time and info

I'm gonna sound a little biased, but why not send your motor/car to the COBB guys up in DFW?

They're more than qualified and build about one Subaru every 2 weeks.... sometimes more often.

The original plan was to take the vehicle to Plano , but unforeseen circumstances has left the vehicle disabled in Austin. Also, with the amount of work I plan to have done I want to be able to drive over and look at the work and progress.

I will give you my opinion. Hands down, I would go with MZM over Cobb. From my experience MZM is far more diligent, both in builds and tuning. I can't speak to cost, nor time. MZM is not a volume tuner, and neither are they great marketers, but very simply, if you use them you'll go back.

Search MZM on here.. They have built some pretty bad ass cars. I spoke with one of the guys that had a nice car built by them, his words were nothing but praise.

I ran a 12.7 at the Academy w/my stage 2 STI after MuTasim tuned it back in 06, and I don't have a lot of experience drag racing. From my experiences w/MZM, jiml's right on. It will probably be expensive, but you won't be disappointed in the results.

Ty for all the info I truly appreciate it. To the moderators who closed my post due to cross-posting, due to my specificquestion based on a motor build and dealing with a shop in my area, I thought it respectable to post in the proper forum channel to reach a local opinion as well as a built motor opinion. It was not my goal to "over-step" ur forum rules. I am taking on a very large project and want to make a solid sound decision in my investment. If I overstepped boundaries doing so it was unintentional. Ty again
