The axle re-paint looks good.
i.e. so the money you save on these will be spent on supportive things necessary to use them

Tonight I sprayed the wheel wells with the undercoating. Looks really nice and went on consistently. Very smelly stuff though. I nearly died from the fumes.

You sir, need your own build thread.

Cool. I would like to see what their work looks like. If it is nice and you like their service, I might have them make some changes to my piping as well.

And I can't wait to ride in a built Legacy. You don't see those every day.

Also, this morning in the light, I got to take a look at the undercoating I applied last night. It looks very good. I think I will use this product to finish the rest of the car now. Hopefully I don't find out it falls off the car 3 months down the road!

you are probably right, but i'm not so self-involved that i feel i need one.

i'll let you know how the piping turns out.. should be good, especially for the price

as for the built legacy comment.. Thanks man! it has been a long road.. my power output will only be limited by my fuel system.. 816cc injectors FTL..

I called the machine shop today. They FINALLY had a chance to start on my parts. They were able to repair the front control arm. But they have not started on the caliper yet.

I know they are swamped, but this is taking a long time. I need to get this going.

Once the brakes and control arms come back, they (along with the rear lateral links, trailing arms, Hella horns, RPM brace, Diff cover, and master cylinder brace) are going to get powder coated.

I have all the other parts ready to be assembled and installed on the car. Well, except for a set of rear hubs that I need to put bearings in.

Suspicious Garage is on quite a few good drift cars out here. The owner is a stand up guy, I called to help a friend find a 240 part, and he had what we needed in 20 minutes... aaand for half the price of everywhere else.

To top it off, he works nights. Which for someone like you Ken, who works all day, and works on cars at night, it's nice. IE: if you make an appointment, you can drop you car off when you get off from work, he'll weld the pipes up at night, and you can pick it up the next morning... Baller.
