Would like to know this as well. Haven't really tried to get it off, but I was wondering if you pop it off from the side or pull the fender lining and unclip it from the back?

The chrome pieces are held on with double sided tape. Pop the whole panel off and use a hair drier. They just peel off.

Sorry the craptastic cellphone pics
I want to do this as well, but take it 1 step more and paint the 'WRX' red to match the car. From what I'm gathering so far, it's pretty easy.

It's pretty simple, just pop it off...wouldn't hurt to have an exacto blade handy to cut the glue if it's too sticky. Paint. Reapply.

Painted mine red but I'm not sure if I like it yet. I think I might go back and spray them with some obsidian black Pearl spray paint I found online to match the car.

Are these brushed already on the 2011? I swear mine isn't chrome.

The 2011's have a brushed look, the 08-10 STI's were more of a chrome finish.

I painted mine black with red lettering. Sprayed the whole thing black, than masked off everything but the letters and sprayed them red. It may be easier to paint the letters by hand since my tape job bled through a little and it wasn't perfect.

Looks good though, any close ups? I may try to color match the WRX letters blue

Badge looks good but I'm sorry dude, those lugs have to go! Personally, I love the brushed aluminim look of those fender badges and that plate on the trunk above the license plate. Granted, I have SWP and it just sets it off perfectly. I'll tell you what I think is wierd is that I noticed the new STI's have turn signals in their side mirrors while the WRX does not! WTF Subaru! It's a safety feature! It's not like it makes the car go faster! That should be on the entire line-up, down to the Impreza 2.5's! Just my opinion!

Is there a writeup on how to pull off the panels? What should I do to get them off?

The Rally Armour flap instructions tell you how, although you can do by just popping the top couple of clips and doing it "on the car"................
