Default Need someone to come to me and do a compression check and leak-down test - $$$

As the title says. I live in downtown Denver and have an '04 STi that is smoking BADLY and throwing too many CEL's to type.

I've a sneaking suspicion I've cracked a ringland but would like to do a compression check and leakdown to know for sure, so I can get a handle on what my next step should be.

So I need someone to come to me with the appropriate tools and do those two tests. I'll obviously help with the removal/reinstallation of parts, and am willing to pay you for your time and help (within reason).

I'll be posting this on AWDPirates, as well, but NASIOC has always been my "go to" site, so here I am. Please help! TIA RMIC'ers.

Well it turns out SubaPerformance is only about 3 miles away from me. I think I'm going to roll the dice and drive it down to have Troy compression check it, as it's just not worth $75 to have it flatbedded that distance.

(and it looks as though I'm already registered at AWDPirates, but I can't for the life of me remember either my s/n or password.)

If an out of work tech sees this and would be willing to drive to me to do those tests please respond here or shoot me a PM. Otherwise I'll be limping it to Blake St. sometime next week....
