Default Suspension Questions

Looking at getting coil overs and dont know to much about them. I have been looking at a couple in the price range i want to spend. Im not going to be tracking all the time every now and again, mainly just for daily driving and just add some perfermonce. I currently have Cobb springs, is it going to be worth it to get coil overs? or should i just keep the springs and spend the money on other things for the car. Here are the coil overs I have been looking at if anyone recommends anything else let me know.

Both of those sets would be decent for DD but IMO, you get more for your money going the BC route, especially if you arent planning on hard tracking much.

If you do get coilovers, I would say sway bars are not that important. I found I actually liked the feel of a looser sway bar once I put my coils on. I would probably upgrade endlinks though.

you can always just get the KYB adjustable struts! spend about 4 or 500 ish I think on a set and still have some money left over for any other upgrades you have been thinking about. just a thought.

parker, text me man I will hook you up. I have the br br series and they ride TONS better than my springs did. TONS I was suprised actually. I didn't think much of getting such a cheap/inexpensive set of coils. I am completely pleased with them.

I think the issue with the cobb springs is that they are too low for the soft spring rate they have, I dont think they would be the best option for performance even if the struts were replaced. So if you did it I would recommend getting either new springs and struts or a coilover setup. not just struts, ya dig?

yeah that makes sense, I will give you that, I like the ride hieght on my car, but I have noticed that they don't do so well with certain roads haha, either way I am going coilovers just whenever I get the cashola

I'm not reading all the comments.

I had tein monoflexes on my dd and they were fine. A little more rigid, not terrible. My Mini with stock suspension rides harder imo.

The only difference I have felt between the Tein HA's I used to have and the Tanabe springs I now have is that the coilovers made a night and day difference when I was canyon carving. They seem to be equally as unpleasant for Utah's highways. So, I would say get the coils. When I do get some more, I will most likely go with the BC BR's myself.

I wouldn't go coilovers for driving around on the street, but that's just me.
