Who has the fastest Subaru in the land? Who will win a showcase to display their Subaru at this year's SEMA Show? What is it like to ride along in a highly modified race car?


Los Angeles, California (PR Newswire) September 30, 2010 -- Subaru enthusiasts mark your calendars for the largest all-Subaru motorsport event and festival in North America: Subiefest 2010, presented by Subaru of America, Inc.

“I think everyone is pretty excited about this year's event,” said Robert Champion, Event Director. “With a ton of support from Subaru, sponsors coming from all over the country, and the hard work of over a dozen enthusiasts, 2010 introduces plenty of new elements that will be sure to keep attendees entertained and feeling proud to be part of the Subaru community.”

Returning for its 5th consecutive year, Subiefest heads back to Willow Springs (Rosamond, California) on Saturday October 9, 2010. For the main event, professional and enthusiast tuners from around the country will face off in the All-Subaru Time Attack Challenge, pitting highly-modified Subarus against the clock to determine who is the fastest in the land. This is where the talk and the rubber meet the road in a challenge for ultimate bragging-rights.

To celebrate the passion of its dedicated enthusiast owners, Subaru of America, Inc. is offering the winner of Subiefest 2010 "Best of Show" competition the opportunity to have the winning Subaru displayed on the Subaru stand at the 2010 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas, NV from Tuesday, November 2 through Friday, November 5, 2010. In addition, the winner will receive a complimentary six-night hotel stay in Las Vegas, $500 cash, free meals and transportation to Las Vegas, and passes to attend the SEMA show.

In addition to racing, professional drivers from Crawford Performance, COBB Tuning, and other teams will take raffle winners around the track in some of the most famous modified Subaru race cars in the U.S. Anyone can enter and winners will be taken out on the track the very same day of the event.

Looking to dress up your Subaru? This year’s event is providing paintless dent removal, as well as vinyl customizations on-site. Beyond racing and showing, Subiefest is an event for the entire family featuring a live DJ, kid’s tent, dunk tank, and 20+ vendors eager to meet you.

This will be one of the top Subie Events of 2010! A must attend if you are within a 500 mile radius of Rosamond, CA.

A lot of hard work and prep have gone into this upcoming event. I have no doubt in my mind that Robert Champion (Event Director) will not host a memorable and well organized Subiefest.

As for us, we will unfortunately be out of the country during this event. However, just like the past 3 years, we will be one of the event sponsors.


If you are looking for our products at the event....

Keep an eye out for the (2) Sti's at the Subaru and SouthCoast Subaru / Team SCS booth. The hoods will be propped and you'll have a chance to see some of our products up close and personal. If you can't seem to find these vehicles, just look for the 5 models dressed in skimpy outfits around the vendor booths!
