Default TGV question

question to ask guys,
i have an 07 wrx TR awhile back i purchased an 08 STI manifold for it and just got it back from the powder coater. I plan on swaping out my stock manifold for my new 08 manifold.
While my manifold is off i am going to TGV DIY i think its going to be a nice fun adventure i like to try.
Questions yes i know i need 07+ STI TGVs to work with the sti manifold, while i have any issues mating the STI TGVs up to my WRX stock engine???
Also how do you insure the the sets of TGV are grinded and sanded evenly? and tips??
i am going to do the pheolontic spacers from grimspeed
thanks guys
eddie

I'm not sure what you consider a nice fun adventure?
But I have done tgv deletes myself & would not consider that a nice fun adventure.
IMO it was more worth it to pay Grimmspeed the 150 or so bux & be done w it no worries ,no hassles.
But if you consider getting aluminum shavings all over & sitting @ a work bench for @ least 2 hrs then by all means go for it.
Just my .02 I'm sure there are others who would not rather spend the dough .. especially in these tough times .
There will be no issues installing them on your heads

Yea for sake of saying so it would be cool , I used a T bore gauge & took measurements in 4 spots( like a cylinder would be measured)
It was a PITA LOL
