Testing the waters on selling my 2004 STi.
Will return to stock after Halloween and try to sell it that way, feel free to make offers up until then.
KBB is $17,930 (stock)
With all the parts on it right now I am looking for $23,500 as is, make offers.
This car is/was awesome at autocross, the torque is instantaneous and it is a rocket on course. It just needs a decent set of coil-overs, wheels/tires, and you'd be ready to tear up your local BSP or SM class or whatever. I am sure plenty of people will step forward to vouch for the car and me.
This car was daily driven for 2 years in Pennsylvania. It has been a dedicated autocross car for the last 4 years and has not see winter since 2007.
The mileage is in the mid 40's.
The color is Platinum Silver Metallic, the STi limited wing is currently painted flat black.
The paint is glossy and in great condition, normal chips on the front end.
The rear suspension (TA's and LL's)has all been repainted safety yellow and is rust free.
I've never had an issue other than breaking axles in competition. The car is tight mechanically and I did all the work installing parts myself and with the help of friends.
The car has 17" Rota Boost wheels (Flat Black with Red Lip) and 245 Falken Azenis on it.
The front bumper has some notches cut at the rear section to allow for big tires. The rear fenders are flared. Small blemish on rear bumper.
The suck - the temperature gauge on the stock instrument cluster doesn't work. I have the defi water temp sensor and display so it's never been an issue. I think it is a problem with the ECU and another ECU would solve the problem.
The car was in A-stock, then ESP then BSP since the class switched over. I barely used it this year and it's time to think about getting into a different car for my fun/autocross car.
