Default 1999 2.5RS Parts

I'm doing an 05 STI swap in my 99rs next week and I will have a few parts I am going to get rid of. Note: All the parts are OEM.
Everything is OBO, I will ship parts

-1999 ej25 SOHC 178k miles:
So here's the story on the engine. I bought the car with about 170k miles on it and it ran great. Had a few good exhaust leaks in the headers and midpipe, but I replaced both and it continued to run fine. A few weeks back it began to have a weird tone when i'd get on the throttle and some very pingy backfires that sounded like the timing had been advanced. I got in the car one morning and it was super quiet, it sounded almost like someone stuck their hand over the exhaust and it was making some weird "tin-like" noises occasionally. It began to noticeably loose power so I changed the fuel filter, cleaned the MAF sensor just to troubleshoot a bit but it didnt do anything. I decided to take it out to my garage (about 100 miles away where i'm doing the swap) and I got to the point where I was to the floor and it couldn't maintain 45 on the freeway. I pulled off and got it towed.
The engine still runs and is still in the car until next week, when I pull it out. I am going to take a video and audio of it when I get out there to prove it runs and to see if anyone has any clue to what the issue is. I'll probably do a compression test while I'm out there as well.
Shoot me a price if you want it. Or, if you have any suggestions on what the problem is, post!

-Engine Harness
-ECU
-Ignition and Key
-Alternator
-A/C Compressor
-Crossmember
-Fuel Pump
-MAF Sensor
-02 Sensors
-Steering Pump & Reservoir

Pretty much all the other parts I'm using in the swap. I'll update it as I go if there are any more.

Thanks

Default Air Intake looks like your culprit

Dude, you probaably sucked water up through that ****ty intake you have on there... Subarus really dont do well with anything but stock intakes... YOUR MAF is probabaly unable to get the right readings... My bet is if you havnt burned a whole in the Piston, that you need to clean the MAF again and put the stock box back on... Or you might even need a new MAF... Does it smoke or are you burning water / Oil visibly?

Yeah I don't think it did. It still has the stock intake box and filter just the kid that I bought the car off of ran it to the fender.. No smoke or oil. But how would that explain the slow loss of power? I'm thinking a valve(s)
