Talking Swaybar found!

If anyone needs a swaybar for a 2000+ Legacy, you can get them here for $132 plus $7.00 shipping!
http://www.isrperformance.com/main.html
I finally found one! It should be here next Wednesday. Its the Whiteline 20mm adjustable one.

I also called my local Dealer to see what they would give us for the L.L. Bean. $2,000 less then we owe on it! So we are so stuck with it, unless we sell it on our own or find a Dealer who will give us more.

Does anyone know of a Subaru\VW Dealer in Northern CA?
Yes he still wants the VW Passat 1.8T wagon.

do not go through isr... After thinking that they were a good company i ordered from them and they are a joke.. no phone call returns (OVER 3 tries in one day), invalid tracking numbers, shipped 2 WEEKS LATER then when they told me they had sent it out, they were just a headache to deal with. They swore up and down the springs they sent me would fit a 00BE... they didnt. Just a word of warning. Find a different source for your parts.. they could give a crap about the legacies

And yes i am still bitter the springs didnt work

Unhappy Wow!

Sorry to hear that! Too late for me, I orderd it yesterday and she said it already shipped! YEAH RIGHT! I am hopeful that it really did ship and we will receive the right part, but now I am doubtfl. Heck, no one else has the rear swaybar, why should they? It just was not meant to be.

Anyone know of a Subaru\VW Dealer in CA? My husband was practically in tears over the Bean and the automatic last night. I know how he feels. I think the car has something in it which makes one feel sad. Something not of this world. It sure seems that way.

Unhappy eek! You were right!

We got the "swaybar" yesterday from UPS. It was a Training WRX book and no swaybar! A book for $161.00!!!
It says it is the BSR12XZ, yeah right?! It weighs 9 pounds? A book? As you can imagine I am quite upset. That swaybar was never ment to happen. We bought the L.L. Bean on April 1st and it has been the biggest April Fool's joke of them all!

gimme Legacy TPH wagon!

Unhappy

Heather,

Sorry to read about your problems. That's some shipping error. I would think it pretty difficult to confuse a book for a swaybar. Aren't swaybar about four feet long!?!

I haven't been following your saga, but have you checked with www.pdmracing.com? I've ordered twice from Don without incident. It might be worth the wait.

Find any WRXers for that training manual at ~$170? j/k Grill ISR for that one!

AG
May the B4 be with you!

i was hoping that your experience with isr would be different... guess not. Screw em, send it back with rotten food in the packaging, say it was ups's fault

Cool But it's a good book

It really is a good book. We were hoping to keep the book and still get the swaybar. It in no way was UPS's fault. Whoever shipped the book at ISR put on the invoice that it is the BSR12XZ 20mm rear swaybar- which is correct. Someone their switched the addres labels or something. We deserve that book for free! Now if only I could reach them by phone. Most of the time no one answers there! They might have taken my $161 and skipped town?

I have dealt with isr and only have good things to say about them. Just give them a chance to respond, they'll probably come through for you.

the only way to deal with them is to call over and over. They do not respond to emails, pam will never call you back unless you say you need to order something, I finally called service department and played dumb and they transfered me to her desk... when 10 minutes before she was "not available"

I've dealt with both Pam and another employee over the phone and email and they were both more than pleasant and very accomodating. I really hope thisdoesn't turn into another JC Sports thing.

Talking Cobb tuning

I know Cobb Tunning is cool
But they told me on the phone that the Cusco swaybars have been on back order for 6 months and will be on back order indefinetely since they can not get in touch with the Japanese part maker themselves to find out when.

Thumbs up I just called

I just called and got right through to Pam. She said it was a shippers mistake. Someone else got my sway bar. She will ship another one today, she says, and when the UPS person gets here on Wednesday (she promised) he or she will pickup the book. I got to read it FAST. It really is a good book! I sure hope the swaybar arrives on Wednesday as promised!
