Default Voltage Regulator

Hey anyone know where the voltage regulator is located on the 2.5RS MY98-01??

I'm seeing voltages from 13.5V to 15.2V.. I'm used to seeing voltages in the 13.5V range...

I pretty shure Subaru hasen't changed much in awhile...
on a '02 it is in the alternator (generator in the service manual)
The part is called the "IC regulator"
also on '02 the Alt light is suposed to luminate above 16v
any one else?
