I have just purchased a 2002 WRX and would like to know if there are any WRX clubs in alaska. I would also like to know where all the race tracks are and when you have races because i would LOVE to come and watch. Thank you..... My E-Mail addy is heavycorrosion@hotmail.com

is yours the blue wrx without a spoiler i've been seeing on the highway near elmendorf a.f.b?

theres AK Raceway out in palmer, don't know if there are others.
We have a club, but its not all for WRXs, there are VWs in it too

Yes, there is a club up here in Alaska, in Anchorage. I'm one of the VW's. We are getting together on the 29th Saturday at 12:00pm. Then we are driving out to the Alaska Raceway Park. Its $25 to race and $12 to watch. Hope to see you there if you can

Yep, your in it now, the AKIC. We usually try to meet once a month or so, usually at the sears lot in anchorage, then to some eatery.

As for racing, yes, some are dragging theirs at the strip in palmer, there are also others (myself included) that are part of the Artic Region SoloII, and do a lot of AutoXing.
