Default V8 swap help.

Ok I need help.
I just swapped a v8 in my 02 bugeye.
Swap went in ok, but now my jdm ecu will not get my fuel pump going to start the engine. I think it has an immobilizer.
Does anybody know how to override this?

Thanks
Noob

Do you have an inertia switch? and is it in need of being reset?

I think he means an STi version 8 (v8) motor. Not a, y'know. V8.

I don't know what an inertia switch is.

It's a standard wrx. Yes the usdm ecu when i plug it in, can only fire up the car. If I plug in the jdm ecu, car just turns over.

I have the jdm engine harness.
