Default Loud squeak

So I had my engine finished up an when the shop tried to start the car it would crank but not start. I went last night at midnight to tow the car and the builder was at the shop retiming my car. I got the car to Andrewtech this morning and as soon as he tried to start it the car started Making a very loud screeching noise from near the clutch/rear two cylinders. Any idea what that could be?

Ya there a clutch inspections plate that usually gets bent when installin the motor.Check that and see if its hitting the flywheel. Its right above the crossmemmber with 6m bolts that hold it on .This is a very common problem.

Yeah this has been the hardest build so far. The car was not running at the time it was only attempting to start. I will ask Andrew if that might be the problem! I pray!

Also I found out from the co-owner of the shop that the +1 mm valves I purchased were not installed in the motor, they are sitting in the shop

so what's actually IN your motor??? If you have heads built for +1mm valves, and you don't have your +1mm valves in there...what IS in there?

I read your other thread....$9K? I hate to say it, but I'd be filing lawsuit papers if I were you.

good luck....

Well Andrew told me today that my brand new bc 272 cams are destroyed. I do have stock valves in there not my +1 mm bc valves. Tons of stuff is destroyed
