Default oil pump/ catch can question

my first question is about the diff size oem oil pumps. i have an 07 wrx and im looking to upgrade the oil pump and was woundering if and wut sti ones are bigger?

next quesion is about a catch can. im deff in need of one and was woundering ur guys input. i was looking at a perrin one cuz they're pretty cheap and descent looking but on they're site is says subarus should run two of them? have u heard of this or is it easier just to tie them together like they are from the factory and then put one catch can in?

08+ sti is 1mm larger and will work on your car.

It IS easier to tie together and run to one catch can, however many people will argue that it is not the best way to do it because pressures can be different in the two areas that are being vented (valve covers/crancase). You will also need to figure out what to do with your PCV Valve, as it will probably lose its home. There are several articles and threads about this subject. Do a little searching and a LOT of reading and you should be able to come up with your own conclusion as far as what you want to do with your money, time, and engine. Good luck!

PS, you might want to look in the 2.0 or 2.5L threads and not so much the built motor thread, its a bit off topic!

well I posted in here cuz I'm putting a built motor in my car and wanted to kno the best options for it so nothing happens to it. thnx for the help tho
