Anyone want their 4/2 pots or brembos refinished? I'll give you guys the uber deal, as I'm trying to start something up, and fund my engine. I can also do Other things...just not full cars.

I can sandblast too.

Looking to maybe have my wheels sandblasted.. I powder coated them and picked the wrong color - they offered to redo them but they don't blast in house and wanted to just do the new PC over the old - I'd rather start from scratch.

Gee, I wonder why an STI costs like 10 grand more than a WRX? I just don't get it.

Ian, just out of curiosity, why didn't you go with a 6 speed? I'm completely serious, not trying to be a asshat at all. Did the 5 speed meet a specific need?

several reasons. mainly, i don't like the 6 speed ratios, and i've never been a fan of 6 speeds

well until you all prove to me how a 6 speed is better than my setup (except that it's more cost effective), i don't see any reason to explain further.

i don't think there's any doubt that i do plenty of research about every decision i make when it comes to modding

paint. depending on the color and part..either basecoat/clear coat, or a single stage.

wheels are a adventure i have not yet explored. i have a blast cabinet, and a media blasting unit for outside use. the media blaster uses a whole lot more sand, so that needs to be taken into account.

however...ive been thinking a lot lately about redoing my factory bbs's so i have an idea of how much to charge and when im getting into. you are like the 3rd person that wants me to do wheels. that said, ill do mine...then let you know.

In other news, my 6 speed swap was successful and it's pretty awesome I must say.

Jared let me know how your wheels turn out. I'd like to get them beadblasted before winter so I can PC them before I remount my snow tires.
