Any of you guys who wanna see how your cars handle should come out to the autocross at Ft. Devens Oct 27th. Spaces are filling fast. I wanted to make this one but I'll be watching the debates.

My car is getting repainted at the moment, so it'll have to wait. I'm driving a sweet Chrysler 200 right now.

Same color, WRB. My car just had a lot of body work that needed to be done (dents, scratches, cracks, rust) so that's all getting taken care of and it's getting completely resprayed. I'm too far into the car with the motor and transmission to get a newer car, so I figured I'd bite the bullet and do the body work so that way I can enjoy the car for a long time to come.

It's also getting the STi bumper with fender flares, and I have JDM V8 tails and V7 HID headlights to go on as well.

They said 2-3 weeks, so I might unfortunately have to bring the Chrysler to Vermonty-Python. We'll see.

Damn Keith, at the rate you fix stuff that car aught to outlast you. Isn't this the 2nd time it's been resprayed? Next time you do it, look in to the Prodrive front end. I think M@ had one laying around in his shop last time I was there.

Yeah, its the first time it's getting resprayed. The body is all that's left to get the car in tip top shape. I'm painting my side skirts too.

They are going to try and get the car back to me before Vermont, but if not I'm still going in the Chrysler.

The car is going to look great!

What's wrong with the Chrysler 200? It's a quality American made vehicle from a reputable brand known world wide for selling top notch machinery. They import them all the way from Detroit don't you know.

Hydra gets here tomorrow, looks like I can start ripping the SVX apart this weekend. Guess I better drop another 800 bucks on my zeitronix and sensors.

It's actually ok. Except the transmission sucks (typical Chrysler problem) because it can't downshift into 1st without thinking for 10 minutes and then making a nice clunk. Glad to see that hasn't changed since the last time I drove a Chrysler.

This.

For those of you that have never been to Devens, but have done ADSI (you know who you are), you should try and make this event. Great group to run with and they supply lunch.

Ride-alongs are allowed too!

Work dropped a bunch of homework on me (going through a six sigma class and learning SPC) so I won't be able to make it. I know you'll miss me.

I hope you enjoy applying six sigma to people that you manage, I know they won't.

Lol, familiar with this? I'm well over due to get some control charts for my processes.

Jared, it's tools to help improve processes. In my case I work for a medical device company which manufactures things. I'm trying to improve the different processes to make them more efficient. Six sigma is a bunch of tools that help get you "lean". Some tools are value stream mapping( VSM), mistake proofing, 5S, fishbone diagrams, SIPOC, etc. on my phone in bed so too lazy to link, but check out Wikipedia they have some good explanations. Search "lean manufacturing" and "six sigma".
