Default Mountain pass?

Was driving along 285 last night. Just before Fairplay I turn onto a road that turns into gravel after a couple of miles. Take this awesome road for about 20 miles into Breckenridge where it turns into pavement again. Anyone know the name of this pass? It is an excellent run.

Maybe Boreas Pass. If you passed by some old tailings piles about 3 or 4 miles up the road with a big ole mountain to the west (Little Baldy) that would be the one I'm thinking of. The pass is at about 11500'.

That sounds familiar. That road was in terrible shape, but man it was fun!

Yep, that really sounds like Boreas. Been that way when I lived in Breck, but that was before the REX. Have fun? I bet ya did.

Guilty <shuffles feet> I was a fun road. Too bad Todd would be too scared of it, or I would take him up there and he could actually get his garage queen dirty.

WHAT?!? Did you say "scared", I fear nothing! If I owned a RS, I would be there in a heart beat. . My excuss is, if I had the new wheels & tires, I would be there right with you.
