Default CAI compatibility for '09 N/A Forester

My buddy just purchased an '09 Forester (NA) and he's looking for a reputable CAI intake. I'm having some trouble sourcing one out. Are CAI's for other NA models compatible for this application? Thanks in advance...

I would suggest that you don't do CAI with this car. Look at the below thread:

Its basically a raised NA impreza so I would assume that it wouldn't be a good idea with the MAF.

I would just change the air filter with something from AVO. I hear K&N would require you to change oil more frequently due to their not as great filtering.

Anyway, good luck making power. Best way is to just get a 2.25~2.5 inch diameter pipe exhaust, and to get a tune.
