Question 96 outback 25DOHC to a 2.2 SOHC 93

here is what we have! a possibly bad 2.5 dohc. i have a 2.2 soch motor from a 93 legacy easy swap. my biggest question is cam sensor since the 2.2 has its own separate wiring for that sensor will the sensor from the 25 work in the 22 if i swap the intake manfold? next is the crank sensor it also has its own separate wiring for the sensor so back to swapping the oil pump so the crank sensor from the 25 will plug into the 25 intake manifold harness.
thanks john

The 93 is a OBD1 engine.

I think it would be far more easier to source a 1996 up OBD2 engine.
