About to change the oil again in my 2009 WRX. Ran Amsoil 10W30, Ran Mobil 1 10W30. I think I'm gonna try this Brad Penn 10W30. The local tuner/shop owner raves about this oil. Just curious if anyone had any experiences with this oil.

its great oil. It does great with alcohol fuel contamination (E-85), and since it's considered a 'race oil' the level of ZDDP and other wear additives is not regulated by uncle sam
here is a good read about it http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...otor%20Oil.pdf |

We run this in our 750 WHP land-speed car...our engine builder swears by it. I can tell you that It works exceptionally well, as someone said, with alcohol and meth.
As far as i can tell, an excellent oil, we recently tore the motor down due to a bad wrist pin, and everything inside of it looked beautiful. With the amount of methanol that makes it into the oil each run, that's pretty impressive. |

We run both Brad Penn Oil and AMSOIL in our built motors at the shop. From my experience both are great oils. We have found that the bigger builds and race cars love the Brad Penn Oil (and AMSOIL Dominator Racing Oil) and the street cars do very well with the AMSOIL Synthetic Premium Protection Oil.
