Question, and this is forward thinking for me, I won't do a new pan/pickup until I do a new block, and that is hopefully a ways off.

Does this pan sit any lower than the stock pan? Reason I ask is that I have a Kaminari Subframe and a custom fit Covert diffuser under it. I don't want to have an issue with the diffuser contacting the pan. That last thing I need wold be an impact with the diffuser being transferred directly to the engine.

The pan does sit lower, just under 1/2". How much clearnace does your OEM pan have?

Does the diffuser get hit a lot? I've never heard of an oil pan impart harming a motor, except when an OEM pan crushes enough to restrict oil flow. If you crush our pan you've got other problems.

Not sure on clearance... I'll have to check next oil change.

It has yet to be hit, I just like to think worse case scenario. Though the jack point is under it, so it does get weight on it, just not near the pan.
