Outback Sport Two Tone or One Color...Aspen White?

Need your help guys...I can't decide whether to paint my 00' OBS with Two Tone color or just paint it One color which is Aspen White. I'll be doing an RS front conversion for this before painting..

What do you guys think???

Why are you painting this car? From the pics it looks cleaner than my 04 wagon lol. Anyways I think that car would look nice if the lower section/ bumper was dark charcoal grey and the top was left white

Lol, only looks good on pics but it really need some fresh paint. I was thinking of keepin it two tone and just like you said change the color of the bottom half to dark charcoal grey...I think it'll look good. Still can't decide....

I'd do full aspen white with the RS front conversion. It'd look niiiice.

OBS, especially an STi swap has to stay 2-tone Its the heritage of the OBS. Its so "subaru", just like the Baja's, they need to be 2-tone, just not the weird silver color. LOL

I vote as is with the Rs front.

What color is the interior? I can't tell from the pics. if its grey, then definitely go charcoal.

Can you post a pic of the door-jam area? I never really paid attention if Subaru paints the jams 2-tone as well. If you are going to change the color, do the 2-tone all out, jam it with the breaker stripe & all. Devil's in the details.

^ i understand what he's saying about the heritage, but I think the 2 tone is pretty ugly. I'd go all white.

Depends on what you want when you are done. Do you want an Outback Sport, or an L Wagon? There's not much that really distinguishes the two except the hood and the paint.

My first Subie was a 1997 OBS, my current is an '09 OBS. As you might guess, I'm partial to the 2-tone. I'm also partial toward the "heritage" that as mentioned above. People keep suggesting that I remove all of the stuff that makes the car an Outback Sport, so that it will look like every other 2.5i and WRX out there. I'd keep the white, but go with a charcoal gray, or Subaru's "Dark Grey Metallic" paint. Ditch the pinstripe though.

Here is some inspiration:

here's the color of the interior...I've changed the seats to 02 WRX. don't have the pic of the door jams but the two tone colo carries all the way inside.

Do you know who is painting it and what kind of price they gave you for an all-over? Did they give you a price for changing the color to include door jambs, etc? A quality paint job is pretty expensive. Are they giving you a warranty with it as well?

It's kind of hard to explain I gotta take pics of it but don't want to put up with all the work again. Yes, it still folds down but not totally flat like the OBS seats.
