^^ I would agree except based on the way the map looked before it isn't so bad. It didn't look blended before either. Plus it's not like this is the final tune, He's just testing to see if it's false knock. Why does the timing drop so low at 675+mmHg? I could see a small drop but ~28 degrees?

Might be your clutch

And not sure if you are running e85, But if you are have you checked your fuel system for water and checked your injectors to make sure they are working as they should?

How are your valve lash settings?

Using 93 right now. Fuel system was drained and refilled with fresh 93 oct. Knock went from 4 degrees correction to 2 which to me sounds like it helped and the timing just needs to be lowered now but we'll see when he tries.

No E85, just 93oct. Yes, I sent the I injectors out to be checked just before I re-installed them at Christmas.

Just a quick update guys. I now have 350 trouble-free miles on the car! I got the knock issue ironed out last week with some help form Phil and its been smooth sailing ever since. Beyond an exhaust leak between my down-pipe and the mid-pipe my car is pretty perfect.

I am planning on tearing the exhaust apart and re-assembling it this weekend. The only other thing on my list is to re-work part of my meth setup. After taking to Phil, I know exactly whats wrong with that too. I dont want to jinks my self but things seem to be going pretty well.

It was great. I loved every single thing about it BUT the center console which looked like crap. I also learned that the motor is 12:1 compression and has a 7800 RPM redline. This really would make the perfect track car.

Ah well center console isn't toooo big of a deal. Did you get to play with the shifter? How did that feel compared to say an s2k or rx8 or something? The perfect track car needs more power lol. It does seem like it would be a lot of fun either way though.

I'm guessing they scrapped direct injection then or are they the new hybrid with an STi bottom end?

From what I have seen they are just dropping built sti motors in and scrapping the direct injection for the time. They are mostly drift cars, for this seasons formula d or what ever the drift comp is called now. I know Toyota and Subaru were building this to be a modifiable car. Obviously it will void said warranty when modified.

^^^^^

I only ask because DI cars run rediculous fuel pressures compared to non DI cars. The engine may be drop in but the fuel system is anything but plug and play
