Default My new sti ... And lots of question... Lol

I just got my 2011 sti sedan sport tech
Search my channel name. Wudi911
On YouTube to see it.

And now for the questions...

1. My 2011 sti sedan rev about 1000-1500 rpm for idle at cold start even after 2 min warm up in neutral it's still around 1000- 1500rpm until I tap the gas a little bit like 2 or 3 mm it goes to 500 to 700 rpm for idle... Any explanations???

2.I am a newbie to a manual transmission and I stall the engine like all the ppl does when they start to learn to drive standard any bad effect??? I m really worry if I broke something!!! And for long term issues... ( it's a new car)
( what's bothering me the most is the unusual noise coming from the reverse and the 1st gear when I letting out the clutch. And it happens at a random time period, but most of the time is I leaving the the school parking lot after driving 30min on highway and leave it park for almost 6 hours)

3. the car is still in break in period and I am not doing any thing the manual says about break in process. again what's the short term and long term issues??? I got almost 600km on odo is it too late???

4. Is it a good idea to put a after market BOV on a completely stock motor?
Power effects?

But the car rev 1500 at cold start and will stay there even after 10 min warm up . I m sure even after a whole day of idling a neutral it still will be 1500 unless I tap the gas.

Thanx for replying by the way!

The reverse noise from backing ip could be from the brakes. If it's like a clicking noise.

1.Car is warming up, just tap the gas. It's normal.
2. The sti has a bullet proof transmission, unless your grinding gears. Subaru's have a certain sound when backing up. The first gear noise if it's what I'm thinking of it's normal. I'm thinking your driving with the stereo turned down and listening to every sound. Your going to drive yourself nuts.
3. Do what the manual says. Better late than never. I seriously doubt any harm will come. Unless your launching the car, even then....
4. Don't get s BOV. It does nothing but make some noise. The stock one is designed for more horsepower than you'll need. Get an intake or something if you want to do a mod, or drop in a panel filter.

This is why it's better to start out with a used one and learn. As opposed to going straight to the top the line, newest car at 18. You can make mistakes with an older car and not freak out. Good luck.

You are probably also hearing your center differential unloading. Its kinda loud at first before you get used to it.
