For measure my GTR with a mid 1.5 runs almost that same exact slip, and we all know how fast the GTR gearbox shifts. Sick driving my friend

Will you be at the EVO vs STI shootout?
Thanks Junior. I do plan on going to the shootout. Maybe a different track will be good to try. . If things keep going good, maybe even M.I.R in November

Not a bad day at import wars. Didn't break my e.t. record, but did have my highest mph. I'm starting to realize my traction problems go way pass the 60 ft. mark.

Had three other passes for the day. Another 10.30, a 10.40, and a 10.60 with a bogged launch all at 137-138. We have a video of the 10.24 pass, hopefully we can learn something from it. We'll post it soon

hey jerry how are you leaving, you should be easily going 1.50 to 1.55 60's with those tires.I have the opposite problem of what your is --I 60 ft good but once I click into 2nd my BFG'S start to break loose and don't really hook up till past the 330 almost to the 1/8th then I backhalf like a mofo(always 32+mph on back 1/8th).

John, last year with less power, 1.52s ,1.53s pretty consitently. Had a best of 1.45. Different story now. I've been playing with tire pressure, 2-step settings, etc. I do need some better suspension, thats for sure. Oh by the way, who's Jerry ?

Thanks alot Juan. Very frustrating, but I'll get the 60 fts back with some work. The car is stuck at 10.22 no matter what the 60 ft is haha. Weird..

Yes. At this point I can't say if they are better than the Hoosiers because the suspension seems to be my problem. If you watch the video starting at like 1:17 a couple times, it seems to me that the car leaves half decent, but 6-8 ft out the rear suspension bottoms out, and the tires break loose. Same thing happens when I shift second. Better, stiffer suspension should fix that I hope. Any feedback is appreciated

Did you remove your sway bars? That will help a lot. I run 22psi up front and 20psi in the rear and cut a 1.40 of the hoosiers.

I have crappy stiff road racing JIC FLTA2 coilovers. I have the rear set to full soft and front set to a little stiffer. You can see in this video I still get a decent amount of wheel hop but this was still a 1.42 60'

I'm a noob. How does the removal of sway bars aid in traction?
