Hi Mid-A,

***Sale Pending**** I have a deposit, and one other person very interested. I'll keep this thread updated if anything changes. thx for the PMs.

Asking 20k. No trades. Not trying to part it out. thx! May be willing to work something out if you want the car with just the BBS or just the Volks.

10/26/10 - 20,000.
11/05/10 - 19,000 <--new price. This is the price I want for it this week, so please, hold back those low ball offers. I will continue to drop the price until it finds a new home, so who knows, maybe you will get your price if you are patient.

--------------------
I guess i'm an oldtimer here, and it's time my STI finds a new home. I'm the original owner and I have done all the work. (ok, didnt do the spring swap, but I could have! )

Feel free to browse my pictures and ask questions: http://njektd.com/subaru/ I went from stock to a SZ55+FMIC to a 30r+TMIC setup so you will see many pictures at various stages. I will post some current pics soon.

-Stupid tial 50MM bov adaper wasnt engineered well. It rubs on the hood.

As you can see the car pretty much looks the same. My car has been garage kept since day 1.

see it in person... http://njektd.com/subaru/oct2010/P1000238.JPG it's not very deep. Normally I would just get a new rim, but at 800 a piece, my plan was to have the entire lip machined 1-2mm, then painted to match. you could cover it with some touch up paint in the meantime and most people wouldnt notice.

Updated information:

I've been getting many of the same questions so here are the responses:

Power Levels:

I tuned the car myself and have years of experience doing so. Here is a dyno graph of the last time I dyno'd my car:

http://njektd.com/subaru/topspeedretune.jpg

This dyno graph was on my old SZ55 turbo setup and did not have the perrin equal length headers. The car now pulls more voltage on the MAF sensor (so more power...) and is smoother. My estimate is it would put down 420awhp and 410ft/lbs at 25psi on a DynoJet based on the MAF voltage from my road pulls. My daily driven tune is for 25psi, 22.5 degrees of timing up top, 93octane + a 50/50 mix of water and denatured alcohol on a single stage, two nozzle setup, so 9gph total. http://njektd.com/subaru/30r/tmic.jpg

In the stock ECU I have tuned my Injectors, my tip ins, calibrated my MAF sensor, minors AVCS tweaks, and take care of emissions stuff. My utec is tuned using speed density. I detune every winter by lowering boost and timing a couple degrees. The utec is great for that.

Engine Health:
It pulls strong, i'm anal about my tune. I replaced my plugs last summer and did a compression test then. Everything was within spec. My garage is fully equipped to do a compression test again so anyone is welcome to do so. (just don't break the clips on my coil packs)

Questions about the broken wheel in my picture archive:

I did have one accident ... two winters ago I was still on my summer tires and was stopped at an intersection needing to turn left. I turned the wheel left, tapped the gas,.. but the car slowing went straight even though I had the wheel turned. I hit the curb on the opposite side of the intersection (5mph). The accident destroyed on of my volks (it's been replaced), bent the lower control arm 3mm, (replaced) and chipped the paint on the passenger fender where the bumper cover and fender meet. Mach V did the repair (which was just replacing the lower control arm and doing an alignment) I felt like an idiot because I had my winter wheels in the garage and just didn't get around to swapping them.

Brakes are stock, I put OEM pads in them last summer so they are good to go.

Interior:
I will take some interior shots but it's pretty much stock. I don't smoke and no one has smoked in the car. I'd say that the interior is what you would expect for a car with 30k on it owned by a non-smoker. I dont have kids either.. so the back seat is where I transport my laptop.

Title:
Title is clean, I own this car so the transaction would be smooth. Ive been PM'ing my VIN to anybody who asks for it.

I had this car approaching 6 years. For me, the build is done. I didn't want to take the mods to the next level. Now I just commute in it and I have to park it at a place with a lot of work trucks and vans... those guys dont give a crap about a nice car.. thats where I got the door dings It's time for me to try something new. Come check it out if you are interested. I think I have one of the better deals going.
