Default Bulkhead harness differences

I have a dash harness from an 01 RS, that has been pre merged for a forester ej25. I plan on a different swap. But I was told that the 01 harness will not be a direct plug and play into a 99 RS.

I know there are some differences between the 99 and 00-01. But can anyone tell me what they are?

What would it take to make the 01 harness plug n play to everything except the motor in a 99?

I appreciate any help.

I used a '01 OBS bulk harness on my '99 Impreza L Wagon. What I didn't use from that bulk harness was the cruise control, ABS, etc that my car didn't have. However this harness was merged with a WRX engine harness.

The only difference in the two are the MAF and MAP and a couple of different sensors on the engine harness. You just run the correct intake manifold with the harness and there you go.
