Availability for public purchase will be around the first of the year.

Cost is still something that has not been finalized, but it will be competitively priced.

Here is a higher resolution copy of the graph posted in the newsletter:

Between now and release we will be getting the pump in many different cars.

The most recent was a AWD DSM. 620 awhp on E85 fueled by just a single DW 300lph in-tank pump and DW 1500cc, with head room left.

Price will be $169.

We had a great experience at SEMA, I think you guys will be seeing a lot of this pump in 2011.

I will have to get with Mike on the specifics of the DSM dyno results. I just know what was posted.

The base fuel pressure was 52psi with 35psi boot. So total fuel pressure of just below 90psi. With Fuel pumps, the more pressure the lower the flow. The base pressure was raised on this car because the injectors were not large enough at 40psi, so the base pressure needed to be raised to supply enough fuel.

If the car would have had larger injectors, then the base pressure would not need to be raised, then there would have been more head room with the pump.

Other points of interest on the pump
  • The DW 300 is a turbine pump. Turbine pumps are the newest technology in fuel pumps. They are quieter and have less turbulance and a G-rotor desgin
  • The pressure release valve on the DW 300 is at about 100psi
  • We are at about 3,500 hours of testing on pure ethanol with no failures. SAE guidelines are 4,000 hours, which we will surpass.

awesome product!

Is that plug and play like the walbro?

What is the fuel flow at around 5 psi if I do have a surge tank and external fuel pump setup? What is the current consumption of these? Can the oem fuel pump controller handle it's power requirement? Thanks
