What kind of Subaru brother are you? Grow a pair and tell her it's your duty to help a fellow Subaru bro lol.

Says the guy with all his parts hiding in his closet because he doesn't want his wife to find out.

EBC controls boost at partial throttle.
MBC controls boost at WOT.

I took all of the shots (except for the few with the RallySportDirect watermark). Swiped those from the site, because I didn't get any photos of that item.

That is what made my comment funny :P.

Nice, not sure what kind of marker that is but I see the DYE boom stick there. I only played with friends. Playing at the local paintball field was never my thing since too many douche bags. Man I miss it.

Still loving the E85, but boy does it disappear fast! I've been getting 15-17MPG with mixed driving, mostly city. Usually fill up after about half a tank, so that's about 100 miles!

Totally worth it for the extra power though

What's the price like on E85 compared to premium in your area? There's not many gas stations around me that provide E85, so I haven't seen it much.

Approx Prices:
Premium: $3.70
E85: $2.80

Approx Fuel Economy:
Premium: 20MPG
E85: 16MPG

Price per Mile:
Premium: $0.185/mile
E85: $0.175/mile

So right now I'm pretty much breaking even on cost, slightly ahead at the moment. If my mileage dips to 15MPG or E85 gets more expensive (in relation to Premium) then it swings back the other way. It's close enough not to be a concern at this point.

Thanks for the info x2. I'm located in coastal-central FL and the nearest E85 station is about 50mi from my house, so it's not really a realistic option for me, but I have been curious about the numbers and others' experience with it. Also, I just wanted to reiterate how awesome your photos/info/build/this thread is. As a fellow 2011 OSB WRX owner, this thread has piqued my interest. How much care are you taking in maintaining the exterior? I know it's still winter where you are at, but I was just curious. The OSB paint has been giving me a lot of trouble. As another owner alluded to: Obsidian Black Swirl, indeed.

Thanks! Glad people are enjoying the thread.

OBP was the obvious choice for me. I love black cars. I had my WRX for less than a month before we got a foot of snow dumped on us. I have been doing the drive-thru, touch-less car was on a regular basis while there is salt on the road, but the car hasn't ever had a "proper" cleaning. I plan on doing a hand wash once it warms up, then I'll decided what else needs to be done. I'm prepared for some swirling though. Pretty much unavoidable on a black car.

Thanks! I am very happy with how the 2011 WRX has treated me

Now that all of the pump gas is out of my system I met with Nuke and had a quick "touch up" tune done. No big changes, just got everything dialed in. Car is running awesome and pulls like crazy. Really looking forward to getting the summer tires back on so I don't spin through first

No idea what I'll do next. FMIC sounds like it might be fun, but I'm not sure yet. I would like to get it to the track (drag and autocross) once or twice to see what it can do. But I don't claim to know anything about driving, so I wouldn't be surprised if the time aren't great.

That's what I want to do!

But the weather man keeps throwing us curve balls down here........
You'd THINK we're in the clear if you folks up in MN are!

I tell you what...I've really gotten used to the smooth ride of those snows and how much easier the steelies are to clean than the originals!

^^^ I think we're finally good to go Bill. I hear ya, in the last 5 months we've seen some of the worst forecasting ever.

Looks awesome! Great pic too Ben. Seeing your shots really makes want to pull the trigger on a good camera and lens, and work on my camera skills, but somehow all my money keeps ending up in my car, I just can't figure it out.

I would not be surprised if we get more snow in MN, but I'm hoping it won't be much accumulation. The summer wheels are definitely a more firm ride. Need to pay more attention to avoid potholes!

That shot was taking with the Canon 5D at 300mm f/2.8. I was standing a looong ways from the car, lol.

No plans of ever slamming my car. That whole "stance" thing never appealed to me. Going low in MN winter just isn't worth it for looks. Wouldn't mind some wider wheels that are a little more flush with the fenders, though. Grids look great, but it seems like everybody is putting them on their 2011's....
