I have been thinking about going to a ELH when I drop the new motor in. Not for the power increase...but because they are actually safer for the motor. I would really miss the boxer rumble, but you can't have everything.

I've heard similar things, keeping the heat further away from the cylinder helps prevent those issues

Although I would assume a good wrap would do plenty to prevent that too

Mister xluben. You have the Greddy Ti-C exhaust ( Mine comes this week ). I was wondering about that extra hole you have on the left now. I think you said something about having a tow-hook fitted? How do you plan on doing this :O?

I'm looking into having a custom adapter made. My guy is busy right now so I don't know when it will be.

I can't believe how fast your car is. Seeing your needle jump from 50 to 100 like it's nothing is just mind blowing. I saw your UEL vs EL sound comparison video. I actually like the sound of the EL header. Your car sounds like a full blown race car now. Very nice.

I have a RallySportDirect $100 gift card that I'm looking to get rid of. If anyone's interested, please let me know and maybe we can work something out!

$3.50

If this was in a month or two when I'm looking to pick up an intake I'd offer you like $90 for it

Is that the Sucubus? That is an old one, lol. I'd do $90 if anyone is interested.

There are many more things I could do. All the good ones are really expensive though...

Window Tint
Interior Stuff
Steering Wheel
Fuel System
Brakes
Better Suspension
More Bushings
Big Brakes
Better Mounts
Rotated Turbo
Stronger Shortblock
Build Heads
Etc...

How long did it take you to wrap your headers? I just bought the same length DEI wrap like yours.

Probably not more than 1/2 hour to an hour. I had my brother helping me, and it was very nice to have an extra set of hands. Wrapping both pipes at once like I did, resulted in having very little left over, so you have to be careful with how much you overlap.

a few months ago when i was talking to a few professional groups and racers, a lot coated and wrapped or just wrapped but they almost always did individual wrapping of the runners and then wrapped the pair together which is the way i did mine.

was this a consideration when you did yours, ben?

and i know it gets said all the time, but thanks for taking the time to take such nice pictures!

Hardwire and FPR! Once the temp drops, your IDC's HAVE to be near the terminal limit.
