It was actually a 1.5 scroll setup and the whole thing was for someone else. I'm thinking of going to that turbo, but I wanted to get my fueling figured out first. If the 465 will really fit in-tank, then that might be my solution. Then I still need to beef up the motor a bit to really push a turbo that large, but I might do the turbo first and go "conservative" with it. I haven't decided. It's all a ways out. I have other things going on first.

What does it put down at a "conservative" 20psi? How is the spool? You bored with the 20g now?

The 6266? I guess you'll have to wait and see!

But it's really not a turbo to be run at 20psi. It's a bit bigger than a GTX35R. Needs boost to shine. It'll spool later. I'm not really set on that. It has waaaay more power potential than anything else in my car, so it might be too big of a step. We'll see.

The 20G XTR is still fun. Great spool, lots of torque. I think it's a good stock location option. Since it's winter I barely ever even get a chance to get on it anyways. I can spin the tires on dry pavement in 2nd gear pretty easily. Snow tires are just too soft.

Now I'm thinking about getting some RPF-1's. The looks are only OK in my mind, but the weight is great. Anyone know where to get 18x9.5" in 5x100, and hopefully in stock? I'd prefer SBC or Silver, but I'd take black if it's cheaper or easier to find. So far I contacted LSD and they said they're out of stock. I also contacted Spun but I haven't heard back. I'm also planning on checking with Dezod. Any other places I should check out?

I'd be very interested if I can find a set in very good condition that's willing to ship for a reasonable amount. Do you know of any?

I don't really run into many fast cars on the street. Just some guys I hang out with that are rotated and/or have plans to. My car is pretty quick, but I would always like to be faster!

I'm not real interested in buying beat up wheels, but I'll send him a PM and see if we can work anything out.

Good call! I think if properly done, RPF1s can look very good. (example: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...light=rpf1+sti)

Have you perused the vendor classifieds? There are bunch of Enkie group buys going on. Edit: nvm you already got in touch with LSD and Spun.

Yeah, they can look good sometimes, but sometimes I'm not really a fan. I think they'd look pretty good on my car in SBC, silver, or black. We'll see what I can find. I think I've messaged everyone that's done runs of them in the past. We'll see if anything is in stock.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards right now. Just hoping I can find some in stock, or due to come in soon...

Only problem with RPF1s is they crack very easily, and it can be hard to find replacements in custom sizes.

There are a LOT of RPF1's out there, and with their light weight I think that's inevitable. I do agree that it would be a pain to find replacements in the size I want, but hopefully the BRZ/FRS market changes that to some extent.

That has helped a lot with wheels being manufactured. Probably will only get better too =)

I have always liked those wheels when they are 18x9.5 I don't like them as 17's.

I like the new Mach V 18 inch rims. And they are hub centric

The thing I don't like about most of the 17" RPF1's is the convex/rounded face. But that's only on the narrower sizes (like 17x8"). The 17x9" ones have a flat face (like the 18x9.5") and I think it looks a LOT better than the rounded face. Example:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...postcount=1951

I'm starting lean towards the 17's because they're cheaper and 2lbs lighter per wheel. And they seem to be a little more available. I'm still thinking about it though. I have a few months to decide before summer.

EDIT: The Mach V wheels have pretty good specs, but they're heavier than the RPF1's in the same size and I don't really think they look that great (but neither do the RPF1's, IMO).

I agree but for the price they aren't bad. It's hard to find really good looking lightweight wheels without spending thousands.

I never knew about the face on the Them changing between sizes. Interesting ill have to look into that some more

Here's a photo of the 17x9:

And here's the 17x8:

And staggered on the same car:

I definitely like the look of 9" wide ones better.

Why don't you go 6262 if your staying with the PTE, or even something slightly smaller? A 6262 at 31# on E did 650 at 7100 on stock 207 cams but ending up eating the same PAR 650 gearset you have. It also spooled 20# by 4200, but you seem to know all about the car
