I saw that post too but decided not comment. I think you were in the right though. The problem is, if you are new you shouldn't be posting info. On the other hand, I won't take advice without proof or at least reading it from multiple sources.

Yep, I just learned it all from reading the forums and talking to local people. A lot of knowledgeable people around me (especially NF Performance).

Oh well. It's over. Hopefully he learned to keep his mouth shut.

I responded to the OP because I think he is confused in a way that the internet won't serve.

Haha. OK, maybe I'll try to be more nice.
Ah, I had a feeling that how it was taken. It was more of a general response to your post and not directed at you. I'm not defend him as I do not know as much of "these" cars as some people on here. I was just saying that some response were not warranted. I guess I still have a bad taste in my mouth of things that were addressed to me when clearly people had no idea what they were talking about.

Either way, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I don't bash noobs that have stupid questions. I'm pretty good at ignoring that (unlike some people, ie. Uncle Scotty), but I have to step in and tell someone where they're spreading false information, and I really don't care if I'm rude about it. Saying something that's false and misleading just doesn't help anyone. Sorry if my methods seem unacceptable to some people.

I'm not mad at you. Or him.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think it will be the same with the same width. But again, I'm not totally sure.

So, I installed my tranny last Monday and Tuesday and the low temp for both of those days was -11F. The two coldest days of the year by far. The week prior to that it had gotten up into the 30's, and then the week after it got up into the 30's again. But now I got my DCCD controller, and it's cold again! Tomorrow is supposed to be a low of -13F! Good thing I have a garage heater! It should be able to get it up to at least 40-50F I bet. Not warm, but hopefully not too terrible.

Here are some photos of the DCCD Pro:

Very interested in how all that goes in, I'm looking at doing something very similar when I get the income to swap my transmission

I have a feeling those will fit very nicely where the heated seat switch is

You will love the enkei's. I love my 17x9 +35 rpf1's! Been keeping an eye on this build for a while and I like where this is going. Keep up the good work man.

I love how the switch is from Nissan. Well.. Most Subie switches are outsourced from Nissan.

Love the progress you're making Ben. Definitely building the car right.

Congrats on the RPF1's. Though they are a well known wheel I still feel like it's a special club of people that run them on their cars. Can't beat having sub 15lb wheels!

I "believe" that the difference is in the depth of the center area of the wheel where the lugs/studs bolt together. On the +45 it is very shallow (my friend has this setup). I "believe" that on the +35 the depth of this center hub area of the wheel is 10mm deeper (lugs/centercap are tucked down in there more).

Not trying to spread any false information, but just an educated "theory" based on my wheel research.

What you've got there is a hypothesis, not a theory.
It's a strong hypothesis, but still a hypothesis

For some designs that is true. The low offset ones just have a built in spacer. I'm not positive if that's the case for this design and size though.

I googled the +45 and +35 face on the 17x9 rpf1, and for the most part they look almost identical.

Finally got the stuff I was going to sell for a friend. He already sold the TMIC, but the rest is listed. I'll be posting up some 5 speed shifter and clutch parts soon.
