Ben,

Slightly off question, have you logged how long a tank of E lasts and what's your average range? I have thought of doing an E85 build versus a nasty pump build down the road because near DC it's plentiful, but around your HP level efficiency starts to take it's toll and your looking at 100 miles a tank for range.

Would you rather have more protection for blowing a motor or gas mileage. If your worried about gas mileage doing a build probably isn't for you. I'm going with if he stays out of it 250 if he is on it a lot 160

I'm guessing once you go EWG and dump to atmosphere the exhaust isn't as much of a bottle neck anymore.

Why would anyone ever need anything more than stage 1? That setup looks awesome!

That video was low 4 second range. But the shifting was a bit lazy, and you have to remember that the 6 speed (even with long gears and 8k redline) still requires two shifts to get from 50-100mph. On the 5 speed and the 20G powerband I could make it all the way through in 3rd gear. Zero shifts! Normally I figure FFS's take about 1/4 second each, so I figure this setup is probably a good half second faster than the old one. I'll try to do a 50-100mph some other time and see if I can get it down to 4 flat or maybe into the 3's.

Haha. It's been up there a while, just not tied directly to me. I take photos of other people's stuff on their page too, so not everything up there is going to be mine

You can make power with the stock exhaust, but that doesn't mean you couldn't make more power with a bigger exhaust. The EWG certainly should help though.

I had been getting around 16MPG on my 20G setup. That was about 200 miles. I don't have enough time on this new setup to tell if it's any different. Maybe it will be better because I'm in boost less around town... I certainly hope it will be more than 100 miles!

Those could be a little high. If I'm really going at it (like at the track) I could see it down near 100 or less. Normal street I'm hoping for around 200.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking as well. But I do think a larger exhaust does help a little. Especially 400+ WHP.

Uh... No emissions testing here. But pretty much any mod would void that (ie. non-factory cat). This setup wouldn't even be close.

That wouldn't even be close. He would kill me. That's probably another 100+ WHP over mine. And lighter! Same gears too.

But I want max grandma driving mileage AND normal mileage lol

Btw wouldn't you be faster if you shifted by 7K? Since you loose power going farther?

There's a lot more to it than that. But I would probably be better off shifting at 7.5k right now. 8k will be better if I get cams.

I've already PM'd the mods about it but they never change it in the past so. Not too optimistic.

Do you have any plans of doing any 0-60mph runs or 0-100mph?

Maybe but I doubt it unless I log at the drag strip. 500+ HP street launches don't work that well. Even 400+ is tough.

There is no drag strip at DCTC. And the only straightaway has a 55mph speed limit.

But it's not a prepped surface anyways, so I might as well just do it on the street...
