Oh how far my car has come....

Haha. I noticed that. Top end is way different!
I am not a big fan of these 140 mph runs. It's done most likely on a public road, at night, also its spring time so the roads are filled with imperfections from rounds of freeze&thaw, you hit anything at these speeds and it's gonna be game over for the car. I recall most of your test runs used to be like 40-80 or 60-100, now this setup makes you speed more because the powerband is shifted to the right. Keep it safe, you may be too comfortable with so much power under your right foot.

If he wrecked at 140 I doubt he would be worried about his car, I doubt he would have any care in the world...

I know, I was trying to be diplomatic and omit mentioning death, danger to others, etc.

with 600whp anytime you stay on the gas for more than a few seconds you are going to be deep into the triple digits, that's kind of the point of making all that power. I mean this car would probably trap in the 120-130 range

Yeah for sure, 130+ if he wanted to run some slicks and into the 10's I would imagine

All of these runs are on a closed course.

I do hope it will be a 10 sec / 130+ mph car once I get to the 1/4 strip...

Not sure if my driveshaft/axles/rear diff will handle it though...

Modifiying a daily driver to high power levels is kind of silly too, but we're all members of this (and other) forum(s) because we do it and enjoy it. Turns out being childish is quite fun.

Course... final mod will need to be a cape.

Hey - where do you guys discuss these get togethers? I am in the Twin Cities, and cannot figure out how to get connected to some of these events. I bought the car at Morrie's, so Scott sends out an email when he has stuff going on, but I cannot seem to find a good location (nothing even shows up here in NASIOC in the MWSOC forum) to keep up to date with these events.
