Does that plastic cleaner work on the black plastic on the door panels? I scraped my shoe on my lower door panel a couple times and it has a couple of scuffs I can't seem to get rid of although I've only tried a few things so far.

Edit: Now you are a supporter huh?

Plexus was designed for use on clear plastics. It cleans and polishes in one. I've used it on other applications (ski/snowboard goggles, paintball masks, glasses) and when my window tinting guy recommended it for tinted windows I figured I would buy a can for myself. It's definitely not cheap, but it does seem to work well.

Here is some more info. I'm not sure how it would work on the door panels. If you've actually scuffed the plastic, then I don't think there is much of anything that's going to help you. If it's just some show rubber, then you might want to try a stronger cleaner.

I paid to become a supporter when I was selling all my stuff and needed more PM's.

Thank you for the info, it was scuffed with just a normal rubber sole shoe. I will see what I can find that isn't going to hurt the plastic.

Hey xluben,

This question might be a bit dated - but why did you get rid of the Greddy Ti-C?

It was a bit loud for me, and I found a great deal on a trade. I really liked that exhaust though. I still miss it sometimes.

That's the exhaust I wanted but it was too expensive at the time. I just got a ticket for my N1 race.

Ben, did you get your car aligned from Jeff in Bloomington? I've tried emailing him but with no response (1 week ago). If so, how much was it?

sorry if this was already answered

I had him do my alignment after my coilover install. He is good if you have aftermarket parts or need advice on what settings you need.

For my spring/shock setup I got it aligned at a local shop. They aligned to my specs and it was quick and hassle free.

Initial impressions? And I can't believe you still haven't gone with a CF DS yet. People praise them as the best mod they've ever done. I bought a PST the other week, but they sent me the wrong one so now I have to wait and send it back and all that nonsense

Should have ordered from RSD! I have considered one. It might happen eventually. It just seems rather expensive for what it is. The guy I got the SIT driveshaft from has a CF shaft in his 2012 STI w/rotated GTX30R so I might have to get in a ride in that sometime to compare.

I have the COBB. The Perrin is a friend of mine's old exhaust. It is for a SEDAN. He bought a hatch so he doesn't need it any more.

I don't remember seeing this anywhere in your build thread and I know their are tons of threads on oil but I'm curious why you chose to use rotella t6 for your car and any reason besides cost over the motul oil? I'm running t6 in mine as well, honestly mainly because it seemed almost everyone else is running it with no issues.

Because it works well and costs $20/gal.
