We're back home from Chicago! After close to 1,000 miles of driving I consistently saw about 19-20MPG when cruising on the highway (70-75MPH @ 2,600-2,800RPM's with the Spec B gears), but during the time spent in Chicago traffic I only got around 10MPG! My normal mix of daily driving is usually somewhere in the middle of that.

MPLS to Chicago and back on E85 wasn't an issue with a little planning. The car was on the full 30-31psi (close to 600WHP) tune the entire time. At a steady cruise I think it could get close to 300 miles before being empty. Here are some shots from after 3/4 tank (11.6 gallons). E85 @ $3.50/gal was pretty typical for the trip.

Lies I see that 68 mpg in the back. You did a hybrid build didn't you That's really not bad for the power on tap

Haha. The readout got up over 70MPG at times! I think it's around 3.5x the actual MPG with my current injectors and base pressure.

For a nearly 600WHP car, I think that highway cruising at 20MPG is pretty good. There are cars with half the power that do worse!

With that messed up readout, you haven't thought about swapping the clock/mpg to something else?

No, I do like the clock and temp readout. Normally I don't even have the MPG showing, but I sometimes check and once you figure out the multiplier (ie. 3.5x in this case) it's pretty easy to eyeball if you're above/below normal.

I've been testing it on my car and some others with bigger injectors and/or E85 and its working really well.

I'm sure Cobb will pick this up sooner or later and make it available in their software. ECUTek has has it for some time now and I've been bugging the OS guys to find it and someone finally did.

Ello. Saw you owned the Greddy Ti-C. Was wondering if you have heard or have knowledge of any quad tip exhausts that sound similar to it.

Sounds exactly what I'm looking for from your videos. I was thinking maybe the CNT quad tip was maybe a bit similar, but I'm unsure. Thanks.

Awesome. I hope it gets onto the AP soon. For now I will just have to do some math

Not really. I've heard the Ti-C and CNT quad tip back to back and they're not quite the same. The CNT isn't that bad for the price though. Basically a Q300 knock off.

Buddy of mine picked up a used CNT quad for $150, cleaned it up like new, sounds just like his friends Q300.

It's become too loud for him though, especially with the hatch-drone, so he's thinking about going with an SPT, or holding out until he gets an ELH and seeing how it sounds then.

I'm enjoying the piece and quiet of my stock CBE lol. All of my mounts and bushings make more rumble than an SPT as it is!

From what I've seen the elh actually makes it sound louder. Probably due to the change in frequency and tone, seems to make it slightly higher pitched.

I think it's probably a little louder than a Q300 (which is already decently loud). The stock exhaust is very quiet for our cars. Not a bad thing and doesn't affect power for most people.

It does seem to make it higher pitched, but I think most people tend to think it sounds quieter. All subjective though. Mostly just a change in tone.

I might end up going EL in the future with the stock CBE. Not sure yet. It would be interesting to hear that combo! (Probably sounds like my old 2010 Mazda 3 lol)

I'm pretty sure I did that at one point. Probably. I don't remember it sounding like much. Stock exhaust is very quiet.

Any quad tips you've heard that do sound similar? Also wondering how you liked the Ti-C.

+1.12345x10^99 for the Ti-C. I bought it because of xluben's review. I am absolutely infatuated with it; wouldn't trade it for anything.

I don't think any quad tips are really going to sound like the Ti-C. I thought it was a really great sounding exhaust if you don't mind something a little louder.

The Ti-C was hands down the greatest Exhaust in terms of sound that you can get on a GR. It was amazing while I had it lol. The quadtips won't have that deep demonic sound :'(.
