With government E85 funding cut, I would actually think that they would stop

Higher if it's a lot of highway driving. |

E85 is about $8/gallon cheaper than the race gas that it has equal performance to.
Lol. Not a real comparison but I think doing cost comparisons to pump gas is silly. It offers tons more performance for very little extra cost. But if you must compare that, I got about 20MPG on pump. So my mileage is down by about 25%. E85 is still about $0.60-0.80 cheaper than Premium near me so the cost difference is small, but E85 is a bit more per mile. |

I have no idea and I honestly never look. If had to guess I bet Premium is $3.8X and E85 is $3.2X. That could be way off though.

Oh wow. That is expensive. Maybe I'm way off. I think pump gas is still under $4 here but I could be wrong. But the actual prices really don't matter as much as the % difference.

Holiday Gas Stations are local. If you go to their website you can sign up for email newsletters and coupons.
http://www.holidaystationstores.com/ Every month or two they send out a $0.06 off coupon. I shrink them down and fit a few on the page (two columns). Then cut them out and toss them in the car. I have used one for every gas purchase for the past few months. |

I wish we had E85 around here. I'm paying $4.35 a gallon for premium with no power benefits!

Just like the other picture threads. Every few dozen pages everyone posts about their gas prices and gas mileage. I really don't care. I'm not going to move and it's not going to make me feel better/worse knowing what your gas prices are.
Same with the "Is E85 worth the money" debates that always pop up. If you have to ask, you need to do more research. First, it's a simple calculation and second, even if it cost double what pump gas cost it would still be completely worth it compared to race gas. Enough of this. No more fuel price comments. Lol. |
