xluben, why are u going through so many diff bpv's? And since you are, mind testing the synapse synchronic and write a review? Thinking of going that route.

I'll take the GFB off your hands..

Car looks great, one of the best build threads out there. Now needs a video of the TurboXS.

How much for the GFB? PM me if you're interested.

I'll work on the video. I drove around with it a little more, and I'm not sure you'll even be able to hear it in a video on the highway with the windows down. It's that quiet.

Once I drive with it a few more days I'll put up some thoughts. So far the GFB definitely sounded the coolest if you want the BOV sound. The TurboXS sounds more like a BPV. It's really quiet subtle. I'll wait and see which one seems to drive the best though.

You need some nice big Brembos to stop that beast my friend. My car barely stops and it's half the power!

If you drive the speed limit, it doesn't take any longer to stop with 400WHP than with 200WHP

Check out these shots of the Proto Tuning Tool Holder in my car:

Ok you got me there, but you don't build a car with that kind of horse power to drive the speed limit. The WRX has one of the worst cases of brake fade for a stock sports car. If you track your car you might as well be stock because you'll have to slow down so much earlier for the corners. I'm not putting down your car, I'm absolutely jealous of it, I just want it to be a race car, lol.

Oh, and what do you do with your excess AP cable so it's run neatly?

Almost true, he will need a new tranny soon, although we are all rooting for him.

I was kind of kidding. For the street the brakes are fine. For the track they are pretty horrible. I only did the road course once, and that was back on the stock turbo, and they didn't hold up well at all. I was very close to buying some Brembo's locally a few weeks ago.

Then I realized I'd need a completely new winter wheel/tire setup and it would end up costing me a pretty large chunk of money, so I decided against it. Before this summer I will certainly be replacing my pads, lines, and fluid. I've had SS lines and ATE blue fluid sitting around all winter. Just need pads and I'll get around to swapping it all out one of these days.

I don't actually have an AP, so I don't know what I'd do with the cable. It would probably involve liberal use of zip ties.

Nope. Not even close. I could certainly find plenty of things to blow money on. I haven't even bought a lot of the crap that most people buy for their cars

I wouldn't want to have my AP sitting there the whole time so people can see it. I guess you can put it in the glove box everytime you park the car and it's cheaper than buying a boost gauge. I'm on the fence about it. I tried to find it on Rallysportdirect and couldnt find it. How much is it?

Haha. I don't actually have the AP. Note the screen says it cannot communicate. The gauges themselves are pretty subtle. Nothing above the dashline, so it doesn't really stand out.
